Inspired by past work on #environmentalenrichment and #roamingentropy in rodents, we asked whether day-to-day changes in real-world human exploration were related to fluctuations in affect. 
Using #geolocation tracking and #experiencesampling over several months, we found that subjects in NYC and Miami reported greater #positiveemotion on days when they visited more novel and diverse locations. Afterwards, we brought subjects into the lab for a resting state scan.
