All 30 high-speed state-of-the-art aerodynamic train-sets will be manufactured at Savli, Gujarat by the successful bidder M/s Bombardier Transport India Pvt Ltd at a very competitive price.
The first of its kind in India, these Train sets designed for 180 kmph speed, will be self-propelled on electric traction & will have more than 83% local content. My heartiest congratulations to the team NCRTC for working effectively even in lockdown to adhere to the schedule!
