Born in #Sarajevo in 1941, he started playing for the first team in the 1959/1960 season. He played for a total of 11 years collecting 250 appearances and 75 goals.
In 1970 he went to France, where he played for Strasbourg, Sedan and Valenciennes.

Nenacionalne stranke u #BiH tada su dobile zbirno preko 50% glasova u zoni #Tuzla i njenoj rudarskoj okolini (Banovići i Srebrenik) kao i Novom #Sarajevo . Takođe ogroman uspeh u Varešu, Kladnju, Brezi, Centru Sarajeva, Lukavcu i zanimljivo u Šekovićima.
Vrlo je zadivljujuće kako su se rudarska i pojedina mesta sa velikom vojnom industrijom odupirala nacionalnim strankama (da li možda osećaj zahvalnosti socijalizmu za razvoj, jak direktorski kadar i uticajne ličnosti.....?)

In 2020, in total secret, British intelligence ran a secret psychological warfare campaign to sell extremely harsh #COVID19 lockdown restrictions to a sceptical Bosnian public. The Embassy in #Sarajevo used local PR firms, and FCO contractor Albany for the purpose.
Albany is a veteran of British psychological warfare operations the world over, most notoriously in Syria, where it set up fake opposition media assets and provided "communications support" to violent armed groups, in order to circulate pro-regime change propaganda globally.

Bosnia fue la república más étnicamente mixta de Yugoslavia, con muchos grupos pero 3 particularmente relevantes: serbios (cristianos ortodoxos), croatas (católicos) y bosníacos (musulmanes). Eslovenia, Croacia y Macedonia declararon su independencia en 1991. Bosnia, el 1/3/92.
Buena parte de la guerra de 1992-95 se explica por esa mixtura étnica en el marco de la disolución yugoslava: serbios, croatas y bosníacos querían quedarse con la mayor parte de territorio posible ¿Quiénes lograron más avances? Bueno, digamos que los serbios.

I understood as representing a magic formula to describe the gradual approach of autumn. The moment when, from Jekovac, after the Ramazan cannon fires to indicate sunset, you see the lights on all the minarets of Sarajevo simultaneously ignite.

In September of 1995. Rade Rogic, a Serb soldier was ritually killed with a knife by #mujahideen Al Harbi Teufik (Tawfik), served with the 5th corps of the Muslim #Bosnia Army, 505th #Buzim brigade. This was not only the murder of this notorious murderer and late #ISIS member. ⤵️
Al Harbi Teufik came in 1992. to serve in Muslim #Bosnia Army as a jihadi warrior with Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 citizenship. In the verdict of the Court of BiH 🇧🇦 in the Alic case, it was confirmed that he also killed Basic Branko, Devetak Mirko, Stambolija Petar, and Borosina Pero.⤵️
On the 2nd of May in 1992, JNA (Yugoslav People’s Army) from #Serbia supported by local #Serbian militants tried to deal the final blow to the #Bosnian defenders, occupy #Sarajevo and force legal government to surrender.

Serb forces established a total blockade of the city. They blocked the major access roads, cutting supplies of food and medicine. The Sarajevo public transportation network was hit at its main locations and throughout the city.

On this day, 1992, the Siege of #Sarajevo began. It was the longest siege of a capital city in the modern era. Sniper attacks and mortar fire was a constant and daily threat to civilians. Over 50,000 people were injured, 11,541 killed, including 1,601 children. #RememberSarajevo

Following an agreement of BiH governments in charge for health matters by November 2020 state level authorities (kind of) finalised paperwork to be able to order 1,232,000 dosis of vaccines via #COVAX + 892.000 dosis via an #EU procurement mechanism.

Already in December 2020 authorities in #BiH made it clear they had no plans to try to negotiate, lobby & get vaccines via direct purchase. They defended their decision by claiming it is safer & cheaper (+legal) to wait & hoped citizens would be patient.

During the war in #Bosnia Turkovic was an ambassador of #Bosnia to #Croatia and one of the main persons for the transport of mujahideen warriors over #Zagreb #Split to #Bosnia. This was also underlined in 2005 by the #US congressman Franks from #Arizona.
Mrs. Turkovic has strong roots in foreign relations especially in the #USA 🇺🇸 since her grandfather Mehmed Resic was one of the founders of the branch of "Dzemijetul Hajrije", 1st Bosnian Muslim society in the USA in #Wilpen #Pennsylvania where he was working as a miner.

Sarajevo liegt in einem Kessel zwischen den Bergen Trebevic, Igman und Bjelasnica und giftige Luft kann nur schwer abziehen. Sind die oberen Luftschichten wärmer als die im Tal, liegt Rauch als stinkende Wolke auf der Stadt – tagelang.
Autoabgase und Industrie tragen ihren Teil bei. Doch Hauptverursacher der schlechten Luft sind minderwertige Heizöfen, die in vielen Haushalten in der Stadt lodern und mit Kohle, Holz und auch Abfällen befeuert werden. Schätzungsweise 35000-40000 Haushalte in Sarajevo heizen so.
