The stories about the horrendous conditions in Ontario’s #LongTermCare homes right now are shocking in magnitude, but unfortunately not unfamiliar to anyone who has been advocating for better long-term care in our province. (1/4)
In 2011, the #SaskParty eliminated minimum care standards in long-term care, including staffing ratios. This means that there are no rules about how many times a resident needs to be seen in a day. (2/4)
