Resulta que un amic de #Schumann que es deia Ludwig #Schuncke (a la imatge), va compondre unes variacions per a piano i orquestra sobre el tema #Sehnsuchtswaltzer de #Schubert (que es podria traduir com a Vals de la nostàlgia).

Mi humilde homenaje llega con una de mis piezas favoritas, el Andantino, de la Sonata para piano N.20 D.959. El Andantino, un lírico movimiento de apenas 8 minutos, es un canto de viaje, de caminante, pero de doloroso desfallecimiento, que recuerda mucho al Winterreise.
El canto se eleva sobre el bajo inmutable, vacilando entre la tonalidad menor y mayor. Nada sucede más que esta dolorosa repetición, hasta llegar al episodio central.
