This policy is dangerous because it stops people accessing healthcare when they need it.

Thank you @ameliagentleman for drawing attention to @JCWI_UK & @DOTW_UK's calls to #scrapNRPF.

Job losses due to COVID-19 have significantly impacted migrants with no access to benefits & they are now struggling to feed their families & pay rent in this #HostileEnvironment.
Since the start of #COVID19, we've seen a huge increase in calls to our advice line from people facing destitution.

Our Rapid Needs Assessment confirms that excluded people, but particularly those with NRPF, are experiencing new destitution & homelessness.

But there's hope...
We've made it easy for the gov, identifying 12 ways it can reduce the pandemic's impact on excluded groups, incl:

👉 lift the NRPF condition on all visas
👉 strengthen destitution prevention & support for people in vulnerable circumstances
