I just went through what my doctors referred to as "long COVID brain fog". It is a surreal and completely debilitating experience, which robs you of basic fundamental cognition and puts you in a delirious state of complete confusion devoid of emotion and self awareness. #COVID19
I would wake up lucid, but after a few hours my mind would drop in the fog. It's tricky to explain, but the individual in your mind that maintains your agency, your personality, your desire, and your purpose in life becomes disconnected. You become a walking robot potato.
I could recollect any info you asked of me. Birthday, phone number, current president... Which made my doctor's very confused when I told them I wasn't feeling lucid.

But, my fundamental understanding of WHY I am here, and the context of my relationship with someone was severed

Hmm. I don't think anyone is claiming @Facebook is *solely* responsible for #antivax #misinformation, but it cannot be disputed the #platforms have been major contributors.

#Facebook can't have it both ways; to refuse to #apologise or accept any #responsibility, but then to...
...imply that what it is doing is helping 'solve the problem' (even if it is!) simply underlines @Facebook's chronic lack of #accountability & #SelfAwareness.

"Look how good we are for clearing up some of the sewage we pump out" is more an insult than any sort of justification.

we all want to believe that the work is just two key strokes and a mouse drag

Menjawab pertanyaan itu ternyata bukan hal yang gampang. Beberapa malah lebih mudah menyampaikan kekurangan diri daripada kelebihannya..

Sulit mengetahui kelebihan diri dpt disebabkan krn bbrp hal:

Tdk pernah diberitahu ttg kelebihannya, tdk pernah/jarang diapresiasi kelebihannya, srg mโ€™alami perlakuan yg menurunkan keberhargaan diri (abuse/bullying), atau ekspektasi tinggi ttg pencapaian diri.

Satu hal yang juga menurut saya terjadi adalah: saat kita menyampaikan tentang kelebihan diri, kita seringkali khawatir dianggap sombong.

(Khusus bagian ini, saya jg mengalaminya)

Padahal kalau kelebihan ini terbukti, tidak ada salahnya utk menyampaikannya.
