Some steps, I had to search for resources for you to use as some things I just know how to do from experience/making other doublets. I have tried to keep it as easy as possible. 2/?

I picked my fabric with a slight yellowish tone because netflix uses a yellow filter on many of the scenes (I also preferred that color personally) so you will notice my fabric doesn't match the reference pictures for that reason. Here's the color with the yellow filter 3/?

#shirtmaking my 18th century men’s #shirt — using #handsewing techniques. Had you told me that the smell of waxing the linen thread would be magical, I don’t think I’d believe you. But it is.
This is all the pinning of the sleeve body to the cuff. Allegedly this results in lovely gathers around the wrist as you’re #sewing them into place. I can’t ever seem to get them to come out cleanly, but I’m learning.

Using cotton+flannel or a cotton quilt with cotton-polyester batting were also highly effective. But even small gaps can reduce their filtering efficiency. With studies showing people who wear #masks get LESS SICK & often remain asymptomatic, it's vital to #WearAMask.
