I got my start in cyber in 2015 through the @LockheedMartin cyber analyst challenge. This program gave me my first chance to look at real intrusion data and practice pivoting and analysis skills. (Notice anything in the picture?😅) 2/
But as great as this challenge was, it only ran for 3 years and was accessible only to a handful of schools and students. Since then, I’ve been looking for a way to bring that opportunity to others, especially Black and underrepresented students like those at @HowardU. 3/

I met Alexia at a security conference the day after I launched the podcast, and it only had 4 episodes then. She was the first person I met who I didn't know at all, who told me she listened to all episodes and wants more. As a podcaster, this is something you never forget.
So over the years I've ran into at other conferences and such, and sat down and talked with her a few times. Every time I'm thrilled to chat with her because of her knowledge and stories.
