I know I'm late and just catching up, but Daredevil on #SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw is the Waid/Samnee Daredevil. People don't get that? There are a hundred runs, a hundred interpretations. Not all of them are the Miller King of Pain version.
I think that's going to continue to be a point of conflict, in comics culture, or even in adaptation -- big IP adaptations require canon, while as Keith Giffen once said to me "consistency, not canon" is best in comics.
You can line up a dozen great Batman moments, and one of my favorites is this one. Because it's a Flash moment that tells you everything you need to know about Batman, how he interacts with the the others, etc. And it's certainly not grimmmmm.

Another thought about this week's episode: the Wong stories in #SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw are doing a good job of illustrating just how much the legal system in the MCU is not prepared to deal with things like the open existence of magic.
This was something I had wondered about, along the same lines as trying to adapt Civil War in a version of the MCU without decades of history of open superhuman activity and hundreds of characters. The She-Hulk solo books focused on superhuman law are in a very different world.
We know from stuff here and there going back to the first Thor movie that the history of magic on earth is old and from more recent things (especially the inclusion of family magical histories/traditions turning out to be real in multiple MCU properties) that it's continuous.

Perhaps this is the harsh truth: at this point, facilitated no less by people who never really cared about Tolkien beyond using his flaws to shore up the very voices of Mordor in the real world, criticism of this work will remain associated in bad faith. (cont.)
(The same is already occuring with #HouseOfTheDragon, yet perhaps it's story, attuned as it is to a post-20th century world--not to mention the still living author--is more amiable to it). [Cont.]
