There's Felice Pasticceria in #Kothrud with it's in-house bakery. The face, like most in Pune, is pretty and their croissants are superior. They use Blue Tokai to make several coffees and are overall, quietly doing a killer job. 
In #Baner Tokyo Bakery offers curry breads, fromage, custard buns, stuffed croissants - everything is Japanese-inspired!

Had an extensive meeting with @PMCPune Commissioner Sh. Vikram Kumar ji. Shared with him several concerns including increasing #COVID tests carried out daily, bringing down the Case Fatality Ratio in #Pune and also the need to expedite setting up of Post-Covid Care Clinics (1/3)
I also shared with PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar ji the requirements for equipment, trained-experienced staff and other infrastructure as requested by doctors and administrators of #COVID Care Hospitals and Care Centers in and around #Shivajinagar. (2/3)
I also highlighted the issues faced due to the demolition of the #Pune University Flyovers. I have requested Vikram Kumar ji to direct administration & agencies to expedite cleaning of debris on the road and systematically organising barricades & diversions placed on road ( 3/3)
Starting today I will once again be visiting all #COVID19 hospitals in #Shivajinagar. Along with interacting with the patients & taking an overview of the facilities, I will also be meeting the Doctors & Medical staff to understand & address their various concerns & issues. (1/3)
Today, I visited the PMC Covid Care Center at Sou. Draupadibai Khedekar Hospital at Bopodi and had an extensive meeting with the Hospital in-charge Dr. Swati Badhiye ji who shared her list of requirements that will enhance the patient care at the hospital. (2/3)
The team and I are already in the process on arranging a new X-Ray Machine, 2 new doctors with experience and additional manpower for #COVID19 Patients as requested by Dr. Badhiye on behalf of the Hospital.

Happy to share that previous hot-spots of Patil Estate, Kamgar Putala & surroundings have been #COVID19 free for the past 15 days and are no longer containment zones. Thanks to efforts taken by City Admin, @PMCPune, ward officers, NGOs, Karykartas & especially the residents.
We are using all the knowledge gained from our experience with Patil Estate, Kamgar Putala & surroundings to decelerate the spread of #Coronavirus in the new hot-spots in #Shivajinagar. I am confident that together we will replicate the success in an even shorter period of time.
#Shivajinagar @PuneCityPolice Station, Sr.PI Balasaheb Kopnar ji intercepted 19 #migrants (Including women and children) who had begun to walk from Hinjawadi to their home district of Washim yesterday, due to lack of food and other provisions in their current location. (1/N)
The migrants were first brought to the #Shivajinagar Station where they were first given food, water and some much needed mental support. A preliminary medical exam was conducted to check for #COVID19 symptoms. (2/N)

Today the team of 3 doctors and 15 volunteers @RSSorg Janakalyan Samiti went door to door in the Patil Estate Settlement and screened over 1611 persons from 453 families for #COVID19 Infections.
From tomorrow, 3 teams of Doctors & Volunteers from @RSSorg Janakalyan Samiti will go door to door to carry out more preliminary screening for COVID19 infections.

Met with @PuneCityPolice Sr. Police Inspector Bhagwat Misal ji of Khadki Police Station to take stock the on ground situation at Khadki and Patil Estate. Handed over additional 1500 Masks and 300 Litres of sanitizers to further the relief work in the Patil Estate. #Shivajinagar

Patil Estate Vasahat is by far the worst affected (by #COVID19) locality in our #Shivajinagar Constituency. The inherent close-knit structure of the hutments, toilets and the lack of space to self-isolate is the primary cause of rapid spread of the virus.
To decelerate the spread of #Coronavirus in a such a dense community we have provided some additional relief in form of

The effort to provide additional relief to residents of Patil Estate Vasahat is being co-ordinated and monitored by @PuneCityPolice DCP Zone 4 Pankaj Deshmukh ji and Sr. Police Inspector Bhagwat Misal ji.
Attended @OfficialPMRDA meeting chaired by Dy. CM @AjitPawarSpeaks ji to discuss the practicality of demolishing the existing flyover at the University Circle. I have put forth 3 queries which will help make an informed decision that has least impact on citizens of #shivajinagar
1) Requested a report on the techno-commercial feasibility of the project, including viability & assessment of building a two-tier flyover and the #Metro line on single pillars, and the timelines of demolition & re-construction.

. @DICCIorg Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry is currently running a captive kitchen from the COEP Hostel Canteen, and serving 3 meals a day to over 1500 citizens living in shelter homes across #Shivajinagar.

Mobile Clinics in #Shivajinagar. With the total lock-down and added risk of #COVID19 infection small clinics & OPDs have closed down. Citizens (especially in the underprivileged areas) are finding it difficult to seek treatment and diagnosis for other illness and diseases.

Received a phone call from Hon. @CMOMaharashtra Uddhav Thackerayji yesterday to inquire about on ground situation in #Shivajinagar. Shared my feedback regarding provisions for underprivileged (&migrants) & the need to ensure smooth movement of delivery agents of essential goods.
Given the circumstances, I requested @CMOMaharashtra @OfficeofUT to increase the yearly income bracket of Ration Card Holders from ₹60,000 to ₹1,00,000 so that all underprivileged citizens who are in need of Rations can avail Govt. Food Schemes available during lock-down.
Shared my concerns faced by essential service operators in #Pune. Although most agents have received permissions to begin delivery of essential goods, the QR codes are still pending and hence are finding it difficult to function smoothly. Requested his help in expediting the same
I shared my concerns and other issues faced by residents of #Shivajinagar and Pune City with Hon. Collector Pune Shri Naval Kishore Ram during a teleconference organised between all MLA’s of Pune District and Senior Government officials.
I shared the need to increase the number of Vegetable Markets in and around #Shivajinagar and quick resolution of problems faced by vendors, transporters and sellers who are still facing issues with smooth movement of goods from outskirts to the markets & availability of PPEs
I also shared the issues raised by the Doctor Community, where small clinics are unable to stay open owning to lack of PPEs. I urged the administration to provide PPE to these community doctors who are currently not able to treat patients suffering from other illness & diseases.
