दूरेण ह्यवरं कर्म बुद्धियोगाद्धनञ्जय ।
बुद्धौ शरणमन्विच्छ कृपणाः फलहेतवः ।।
dūreṇa hyavaraṃ karma buddhiyogāddhanañjaya ।
buddhau śaraṇamanviccha kṛpaṇāḥ phalahetavaḥ ।।
दूरेण ह्यवरं कर्म बुद्धियोगाद्धनञ्जय ।
बुद्धौ शरणमन्विच्छ कृपणाः फलहेतवः ।।

धनञ्जय - Arjuna, बुद्धियोगात् - buddhi-yoga (karma done with right intellect), कर्म - karma done without intellect, दूरेण अवरं - very inferior, बुद्धौ - that buddhi-yoga, शरणम् - a safe place,अन्विच्छ - analyze, फलहेतवः - people desiring benefits, कृपणाः - are poor (samsari-s)
