After speaking and taking a deeper dive into Morecambe FC and seeing that Morecambe currently only have six players registered for the upcoming season means theyโll need at-least 15 signings in the next couple of months.

I did a smaller thread with five players and Iโm going to add a further 15 players who I think Morecambe could/should sign - itโs a mixture of experience and youth but I canโt help but feel this isnโt a healthy way of running a club

Morecambe accounts out for 2019/20. Revenue held up despite season being curtailed due to Covid. #Shrimps
Main cost for clubs is player related, Morecambe have not spent any money on transfer fees for many years but wages are usually about 80% of income. Even so average wages one of the lowest in the EFL at less than ยฃ1,100 pw.
Morecambe losses halved in year and club did receive ยฃ297k in furlough payments in 2019/20 that helped towards end of season Club has averaged losses of ยฃ1/2 million a year in last 8 seasons.

#Blues have had it very tough so far. An embargo limited who could come in as they took 2 points from 11 games.
Recent form though is strong, and itโs taken them from well adrift to 1 point from safety. Not writing them off anymore...

23: Stevenage (Predicted 21st)
I donโt think Iโm too far off here. 21st is just 1 point away at the minute.
Have much more faith in this #StevenageFC team than I ever did last year and whilst they lack experience up front, defensively theyโve improved significantly overall.
