#Álava es una tierra fértil en restos arqueológicos y Kuartango es uno de los sitios que se han estudiado y excavado durante décadas. El mismo J.M. de Barandiarán (etnólogo y #arqueólogo vasco) estudió los restos de los asentamientos prehistóricos del Valle en varias ocasiones ⬇️
Las poblaciones prehistóricas tenían una densidad de población relativamente alta en el Valle, que se considera conjunto megalítico de interés por la variedad y dispersión de los restos por todo el territorio. Eran agricultores pero también practicaban la caza y tenían ganado ⬇️
