Sometimes, we try new skin care products and our face flares up with pimples, and so you stop the product application. This could be your skin PURGING and it's a good sign to continue. Let me explain: #skinherball

Don't scroll without re-tweeting Image
For most people, while using a product, their skin moves from bad to worse and then good. But you are impatient and fearful of causing more damage so you stop when it's at "worse".

Skin purging happens when your skin tries to fit into the new product.
The rate at which skin cells are shed and replaced are sped up by the product you are using, making microcomedone turn into whiteheads/blackheads/pimples/cysts more quickly, so you’ll suddenly see a rush of blemishes showing up their ugly heads.

Does it look sexy or it's irritating?

Well, to most people it's fascinating and to others it's a plague that needs to be taken away asap. See what causes it and the best remedy. #skinherball

Well, according to dermatologists, stretch marks are lines(thin/fat) on your skin that shows up on your breasts, stomach, hips, shoulders, butt, thighs, etc. They actually don't have any effect on your health.

And even though they'll never really go away, they might fade off

KERATOSIS PILARIS is a common, harmless skin condition that causes small, hard bumps that may make your skin feel like SANDPAPER. You may have heard it called “chicken skin.”

There isn't really a cure. See more #skinherball

Please Retweet Image
The bumps are often light-colored. They usually appear on your upper arms, thighs, and buttocks, sometimes with redness or swelling. They can also show up on your face, but that's less common.

Signs include:

•Very rough, dry skin.
•Itchy bumps that match your skin tone.
They might look like a pimple or a rash.
Except for some possible itching, keratosis pilaris doesn't hurt and won't get worse.

Your doctor can diagnose this condition by just looking at your skin. If you have dry skin, you're more likely to have keratosis pilaris.

If you have oily skin, there are many reasons for oily skin, including stress, humidity, genetics, and fluctuating hormones. To help reduce the oil, follow these do's and don'ts from dermatologists. #skinherball

Although oily skin can clog pores and lead to increased acne breakouts, oily skin also has many benefits. Oil helps preserve the skin, and people with oily skin tend to have fewer wrinkles. The key is to strike a balance between having too much oil and maintaining your skin’s
Natural moisture.

1. Wash your face every morning and evening. Don't scrub your face, in fact it's a general rule. Stop using sponge to bath. That your sponge is older than my dog(my dog is 3 years) and you're still using it. A lot of bacteria's have grown, impregnated

If your ACNE is inflamed, I mean RED, TENDER, PAINFUL, STUBBORN CYSTIC ACNE, etc. You know how irritating they look like on your face. ICE CUBES CAN PERFORM MAGIC ON IT.

See thread #skinherball ImageImage
By reducing the inflammation of your pimples, you're directly reducing the size. In theory, gradually reducing the size of your pimple with ice can eventually make it go away entirely. When used on inflammatory acne, ice also has the potential to decrease redness, thereby making
Your acne less noticeable. Icing pimples can work by reducing swelling in inflammatory forms of acne. These include:

cysts
nodules
pustules
papules

If you have some interest in skincare, you must have heard of serums. Let me tell you something about them, and there is a special kind of serum that helps fade HYPER PIGMENTATION, SUNBURN, and DARK SPOTS — Vitamin c SERUM. #skinherball

[Retweet so others can see please] Image
Generally speaking, Serum is a skincare product you can apply to your skin after cleansing but before moisturizing with the intent of delivering powerful ingredients directly into the skin.

Serum is particularly suited to this task because it is made up of smaller molecules
that can penetrate deeply into the skin and deliver a very high concentration of active ingredients. This makes them a great tool for targeting specific skincare concerns, like wrinkles. Goodbye, signs of aging!

Now straight to vitamin c serum;

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR SKINCARE ISN'T WORKING: #skinherball

[If you see this tweet, please kindly retweet]
I actually understand what's like to live in Nigeria alongside the weather inconsistency mixed with stress and these have a very damaging effect on your health and skin.

1. Weather change, sweats, stress, over exfoliating, over hydrating, and on top of all these,
You make wrong diet choices. That's unfair and that's one reason why your acnes, eczema, whiteheads, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, etc, has and will refuse to depart from your skin.

On this kind of acne, expert opinions are mixed. Hormonal acne commonly appears on your chins, forehead, and nose. For some people, hormonal acne takes the form of blackheads, whiteheads, and small pimples that come to a head, or cysts.

{Don't scroll without re-tweeting please}
Well, for your information, fungal acne isn't really acne. It's a scam.
And the biggest mistake you can make treating fungal acne the way you will treat normal acne. Now let me explain:

Regular acnes are caused by bacteria's and they vary in sizes, followed by blackheads
On some part of your skin and whiteheads as well. Well, for fungal acne, it's caused by a fungus which inflames the hair follicles on your skin and results to equal sizes of pimplelike bumps. This is technically referred to as malassezia folliculitis.

3 THINGS THAT CAN MAKE YOUR FACE BREAKOUT WITH PIMPLES. CHECK IF YOU AIN'T DOING THINGS RIGHT.

1. When you brush your teeth, do you foam out? The foams surround your lips?

Check your toothpaste if it contains sodium laureth sulfate. #skinherball

Rt please Image
Sodium laureth sulfate clogs your pores if it comes in contact with your skin. If this ingredient is present in your tooth paste and you foam out while brushing, you are likely to breakout/develop whiteheads and pimples around your lips.
2. Your phone touches your face too much.
The germs on your phone is greater than the one on your toilet seat (if I ain't exaggerating). Which literally means you holding and using something that's dirtier that shit.

Now imagine letting this phone touch your cheeks.

Apart from bleaching your skin, not extending your Exfoliating scrub to your knuckles and refusal to apply sunscreen can make your knuckles get darker and darker. See how to get rid of them #skinherball

[Don't scroll without re-tweeting please] Image
Commonly, your dark knuckles are dark because of the accumulation of dead skin cells and sunburn from the sun's UV rays.

The best natural way to get rid of them is to:

1. Exfoliate the area. A simple exfoliating scrub;

Honey + Lemon juice + white/brown sugar.
2. Massage the area daily with a cotton wool dipped in lemon juice.

3. Apply sunscreen on the area every 2hrs to protect it from further burning and the sun's UV rays.

People sometimes confuse combination skin for oily skin.

This is how you can know: #skinherball

[Do me a favor by re-tweeting]
The key difference between both skin types lies in the area of the skin that looks oily. When it comes to oily skin, your face appears greasy. You can also expect blackheads and pimples to become a factor.
When you flip the switch, combination skin tends to be oily but only on your T-zone. The other areas of your face tend to be dry and dull, especially around your cheeks, and eye area.

Look at your T-zone here: Image

WHAT REALLY WORKS FOR ACNE?

LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING: #skinherball.

[Please Retweet this thread] Image
"Pimples form when the oil and dead skin cells on your skin combine to form a plug that blocks the pores. Usually your skin naturally sheds its dead cells. But if your body produces a lot of sebum (oil), those cells can get stuck in your pores, according to the American
Academy of dermatology AAD"

That's exactly what causes acne.
They appear commonly in teenagers but with time dry off.

Adult acnes are the hardest to clear.
