Asked about wisdom of lumping China and Russia together in the NSS, @SecretaryMattis goes like "Russia has more in common with Europe" and "China has more in common with its Asian neighbors" than they have with each other, and there is "no natural convergence of interests" #SLD18
This is a very distorted view prevailing in DC and ignoring how recent shift in Russia's and China's foreign policy bring them together. This and contradicts everything @SecretaryMattis has just said about China's behavior towards its neighbors in the region #SLD18
