3 years ago on this very day, I had to install a 20 kW Solar power plant in South Mumbai. It was one of the most challenging projects I have ever done. It was raining like cats & dogs. ++

The roof was tilted and was very slippery. This was the last day of the installation and me & my men had to commission the plant by 5 pm. Each panel weighs around 20 kgs and ppl had to move them over the slippery roofs.++

Troll challenge accepted.😉

Regular reminder that decisions about balance of big solar v distributed solar should consider a wider array of attributes than cost. The quest to make things as cheap as possible is what got us into this mess in the first place. #WhyDistributed 1/x
Distributed solar doesn’t result in carbon debts from land use change. Organic/inorganic carbon releases from land use change for big solar need to be paid back w/displaced fossil generation. This isn’t captured in big solar solar prices, & pushes GHG savings into the future. 2/x
Also, we have ongoing climate AND biodiversity crises, & @TheHernandezLab has shown in California at least: “the majority of utility-scale solar energy (USSE) installations are sited in natural environments” pnas.org/content/112/44… 3/x

First, where did Alberta’s Climate Leadership Plan plan come from? (George Soros, perhaps? Foreign-funded radicals?) No. It came from Albertans. A volunteer panel led by @andrew_leach spoke w 1K residents in-person and heard from 25K+ online. 2/24
The panel also engaged with 350+ stakeholders and met w Aboriginal Peoples in three cities, and received hundreds of detailed submissions from NGOs, industry groups and others. 3/24

Rump's authoritarian behavior includes subverting democracy, failure to be transparent, failure to be accountable, nepotism, cronyism, and many dimensions of financial corruption.
Trump's authoritarianism includes thwarting the will of congress, obstructing the protection of the environment, and putting property & people & planet at unprecedented risk.

If you acquire a new home, you can only deduct $750,000 in interest, compared to $1,000,000.00 before. This could impact many homes in California, NY, and in a lot of urban areas that vote Democrat. #TrumpTax Plan 2/?
The #StudentLoan interest deduction will remain. Because they did not repeal all of the #EstateTax they just raised the exemption from 5 million to 10 million. #GOPTaxPlan 3/?
