Team 2 in my list of previews is Sunrisers Hyderabad who I think did a splendid job in the auctions. Unlike the mega auction last time, where they started on an absurd note and then recovered later, this time they started on a good note and did well throughout.

Strengths:
SRH's OS set of batters is an outstanding one. Markram, Phillips, Klassen are pretty much as well rounded as batters can be in terms of skill. They also play spin quite well which isn't expected from batters outside Asia. Glenn Philips avgs a whopping 85.7 (SR 168)

in T20Is from the beginning of 2020. He also has the experience of playing in the CPL and did decently where pitches can be really difficult to bat at times. In WT20, he did well too. Brook is extremely talented with great range against pace, vs spin he could be tested though.

This morning we learned that as of September 9th, 2022 the Campaign Life Coalition, a longstanding anti-choice organization, is now a registered third party advertiser in the @ottawacity Municipal Election. What does this mean for voters?
Eroding abortion rights and access, the CLC’s main mandate, is on the table as an election issue. In their words, “there is no more important election issue.” It means that now is the time to vote for comprehensive sexual health education, improved abortion access & repro justice
As a third-party advertiser, the CLC is registered to legally run election and campaign-related materials separate from individual candidates. This means that as a voter you might see an increase in anti-choice ads and materials in and around the city.

Anti-abortion extremists in Sterling Heights, MI formed a blockade in front of the Northland Family Planning Center, a Michigan abortion clinic, on 8/28. msmagazine.com/2020/08/31/ant…
They used their bodies to block patients and staff from entering or exiting the clinic where vital and life-saving #SRH services are provided. This violates local laws AND the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.

NEW: The @StateDept's second review of the #GlobalGagRule is finally out. And while it attempts to minimize the harm the policy has caused, it confirms what health orgs & advocates have known for years: #GGR disrupts access to vital family planning & #SRH services.
