1/ Over the last several weeks, I began journaling my response to the murders of #GeorgeFloyd, #AhmaudArbery and #BreonnaTaylor. My world is uniquely intertwined to the present challenges.
2/ As an African-American father of 3 boys, I am a son of Ghanaian heritage, and married to a beautiful scientist of Ghanaian-American descent. I have the privilege of co-pastoring a multi-ethnic church in the Boston area.
3/ All of my worlds are affected by the brokenness of racial injustice.

Since we are friends, family, neighbors, and fellow countrymen, I think it may be best to share a perspective from an angle you may not be all that familiar with.

What happened to George Floyd is inexcusable. (Cont’d)...
That fact cannot be ignored. The folks in law-enforcement that I personally know and the ones that I don't that I have heard speak on it are unanimous on the matter...
Our country has its history in slavery and racism. That fact cannot be denied, ignored, nor can it be changed.

People of color have experienced systemic racism in this country. That is an indisputable fact. But the great progress that has been made cannot be denied either...

Nobody’s ever improved on the ideal that all are created equal and that we should love one another as we love ourselves….
I don’t know how it feels to be black in America.

I don't know how it feels to walk down the street at night and feel eyes of suspicion.
I don't know what it's like to carry the worry for my child simply because they are black.
I won't pretend to.
I am a human being who loves people, all people.
I believe all people have inherent human rights - to live, pray and love as they choose or how they are born into this world.
I believe that love, respect and understanding of each other is a light to guide our way.

In case you caught Pelosi @MSNBC hinting that there may be UBI in "next phase" & found yourself thinking: "maybe they will see what is right. Maybe they will change!"
You need to understand: these ppl didnt come out of nowhere. Their families have had extensive wealth (1)
..and power in this country for a long time. The structures which give them their power& inextricably link their views of a "fair" democracy with their full hearted faith in a cold, capitalistic society & "free market" have also existed since before this country was founded. (2)
..in fact,it was founded and funded by these exact groups. There were many a working class person who wanted to escape the religious tyranny facing them in UK. But never forget how long capitalism has been subjugating, enslaving, erasing and spilling the blood of oppressed (3)

There is never a time or place for government intervention into private lives and the curtailing of individual rights and freedoms.
There is no "public good" in abdication of parental responsibility and granting dominion of your child or yourself to the state. 1/
At no time should caring conscientious parents relinquish their children or rights to parent to the state.

Make no mistake the (((Howard)))'s of the world won't stop at just force vaccination. Their true aim is to have children delivered into the waiting arms of the state. 2/
Purposefully mischaracterizing the bond between parent/child, diminishing and reducing it to a fabricated simplistic postulate of "property" shows these people out as the social facists they are.
Underlying all this is their notion of statism rule: "the state knows better." 3/

Now that it is clear that Bloomberg's presidential run is is merely the exploitation of a media loophole that gives rights and discounts to campaigns that are unavailable to PAC's, everyone who blasted him for... facebook.com/10000074981779…

You can't admonish the democrats for refusing to get in the trenches and take the fight to the GOP, then virtue signal by grandstanding on their backs when they do.

You can't have it both ways. You can either fight, or you can lose.

Bloomberg is fighting. And he's got a billion dollars in his pocket.

Help. Him.
