Average patient time in ICU is 15 days, minimum 10.

The number of patients in intensive care initially doubles every 2 to 3 days.

This slows fractionally every day until, after 3 to 4 weeks, the doubling time is 4 to 5 days. Around day 18, the rate of increase steadies for 3 to 4 days--the inflection point--after which the rate of increase in ICU cases begins to drop.

After the inflection point, overall numbers increase steadily, but the rate of increase slows progressively until it flattens, 38 to 40 days after the admission of the 1st ICU patient.

oder #Scharlach. Alles schlimm. Bei allem könnte ich sterben.
Diese kann man aber impfen oder es gibt #Medikamente.

I was exposed to COVID-19. Here’s what happened.

TLDR: 1) we’re not testing enough ppl to know how big this thing is; 2) if you think you're in the clear, you're not; 3) our healthcare system is about to be dangerously overloaded & only we can save it so #StayTheFuckHome

Despite what the administration is saying, tests are still in such short supply that public health departments are directing doctors to only test in very specific incidences. LA County DPH checklist here.

I have had a dry cough, shortness of breath, & a fever since Saturday. My dad found out Saturday afternoon that he’d spent a lot of time with a person who tested positive for COVID-19. I was exposed to my dad, but I could have been way before that too... we will never know. (3/x)

I’m trying my best to be a calm, educational resource for my friends but then I wake up, watch ‘insta stories, and see that people are rarely taking #socialdistancing seriously.

We need to WAKE UP and pay attention. We don’t have enough tests to try and confine this virus. We must focus on mitigation.

Healthcare providers are begging all of you - We are trying to stop widespread community involvement and the break down of our healthcare infrastructure.
