In Technical Analysis, a candlestick pattern is a movement in prices shown graphically on a candlestick chart that some believe can predict a particular market movement.

A thread 🧵 with @Stocktwit_IN & @TradingView_IN

#TechnicalTrades #TradingView Image
History: Some of the earliest technical trading analysis was used to track prices of rice in the 18th century. Much of the credit for candlestick charting goes to Munehisa Homma (1724–1803), a rice merchant from Sakata, Japan who traded in the Ojima Rice market in Osaka

Formation of the candlestick: Candlesticks are graphical representations of price movements for a given period of time. They are commonly formed by the opening, high, low, and closing prices of a financial instrument.

Here is this Week’s Market Wrap 'Politics Returns' written by @shyamsek

A Thread (1/n)

The markets have intense spells when politics prevails over everything else in directing sentiment. Closer to every general election, this trend returns to haunt the markets. (2/n)

#markets #indiangovernment #elections
But, the ability of politics to drive sentiment is influenced by how much the outcome of the election will drive change. If change is likely to be significant and for the better, the markets can run up ahead of elections. (3/n)

The markets go up too quickly when people are least prepared for it. That setting is perfect for us to get that fear of missing out. We call it the FOMO feeling. (2/n)

But the markets also have an equally strong way of reversing direction. Either in stock price or in a broader market context. (3/n)

You can earn monthly rental income(between 1%-2%) from share market just like any house owner earns rent.

I have been doing this for last few years.

#OptionsTrading #Optionselling #coveredcallstrategy #stockmarkets #StockMarketindia #Nifty #Banknifty
Read on 👇
The strategy is Covered call strategy

Pre-requisites for the covered call strategy
1. You need to own a house. (Let's take #Nifty index for an example)
2. You need to own the complete house.
In our case, we need to own atleast 1 lot of Nifty.

How do we do that ? Read next
3. #Nifty is currently at ~18000 & it has a lot size of 50.
We need to own Nifty ETF worth 18000 * 50 = 9,00,000

Nifty Bees is the most liquid ETF & we get 90% amount after pledging as collateral margin.
So you get 8,00,000 back as collateral as well if you need more margin. Image

How to analyse Banking Stocks?

• Net Interest Margin(NIM)
• Return on Assets(ROA)
• Non Performing Assets(NPAs)
• CASA Ratio

Let's analyse each one in detail 🧵⤵️

#StockMarketindia #banks
The business of bank is quite different frm the rest.

Banks accept deposits from common people & promise a certain rate of interest in return. It lends this money to borrowers & charges higher interest.

The diff between both is called spread which is bank’s actual profit
For Eg, a bank offers 6% interest to its depositors & charges 10% from its borrowers.

The diff between the two 4% (called spread) will be bank’s profit.

As the business stands unique, the analysis of these stocks is also unique.

So, let's break them down one by one⤵️ Image

How do banks make money?

A thread🧵⬇️
1/

Banks pay interest on money that depositors keep with them and charge interest on loans given to borrowers.
The difference is theirs to keep.
2/

Here's how⬇️

Suppose you deposited Rs 10,000 with ABC bank. The bank agreed to pay you 8% interest per annum.

Next, the bank will take your Rs 10,000 and lend it to someone else and charge them an interest rate of 10%.

The idea behind investing in the stock market is simple: you buy shares at a lower price and sell them at a higher price. However, numerous entities in the stock market are capable of manipulation in the stock market. (3/25)

MOVING AVERAGES:

In this thread,I am sharing about moving averages, its key strategies, entry, exit, target everything..
These strategies are scalable to all timeframes, instruments etc

Simple thinks works in the market.

#Nifty50 #StockMarketindia #banknifty #movingaverage
2/n
MOVING AVERAGES:
Moving average is simplest method to understand and trade. Most common moving average is SMA,which totals close price over a certain period, then divides this total by number of period.Ex:10 SMA would calculate close price of last 10 period and divide sum by 10
3/n
EXPONENTIAL MOVING AVERAGES:
I prefer EMA,as it put more weight on recent price data when calculating moving average. It will react quicker than to sma.

What ema I use
13-short trend
34-intermediate trend
55-long trend

@sunilgurjar01 @kuttrapali26
There are various ways of investing, and two of the most popular are mutual funds and Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs).
Both are pooled funds that allow investors to access professionally managed funds that offer diversification in a wide variety of asset classes and industries.2/20
MFs includes stocks, bonds, and money market funds that are bundled together in a single mutual fund. They offer investors a way to own a diversified portfolio of investments at a lower price which is not possible if they own each instrument separately. (3/20)
