1/ for non-citizens who were lawfully present in the US on 1/26 their AOS, COS, appl to extend status or work permit will be considered timely filed if due date was on/after 1st day from start & 90 days of termination of COVID19 public health emergency & is filed w/60 of due date
2/ such grace time for filing is only applicable to ppl who were "lawfully present". To me it appears to be only applicable to non-immigrants, immigrants, and those granted lawful status such as parole, asylum etc.
