The future of NI's devolved gov #Stormont may be in doubt, but we'll continue to highlight the harm done to women, children & men by attempts to replace 'sex' (male or female) with 'gender' (which can mean many things, see our cover photo) in NI. NHS FOI: whatdotheyknow.com/request/single…
We're just one account out of a large network of NI citizens of all backgrounds: parents, people at all levels in education, health, civil service, 3rd sector, LGB, with disabilities. We're all angry at the drain on time & energy fighting for basic rights we'd ALREADY WON.
We are all sacrificing time from our families, our work, our hobbies trying to stop the assault on language and reality being pushed by people paid to uphold our rights. There are so many issues to be addressed in NI, it is beyond frustrating to have to go back to the start.
1. We need expand the definition of Irishness - one million people living on this island were not born here but call it home, says @IRLPatricia in a discussion chaired in #Derry today by @SusanMcKay15 @IrelandsFuture

#Stormont, we are asking you to #presspause on the Ban on Conversion Therapy Bill in Northern Ireland. Wait until the findings of #thecassreview have been released and considered.
Conversion Therapy, as we traditionally understand it, is about sexuality and the pressure on lesbians, gay men and bisexuals to confirm to and convert to heterosexuality. Sexuality is cited as being based on biological sex and same sex or opposite sex attraction.
Conversion Therapy is a long condemned practice and much has been done to further the rights and protections of LGB people to love who they want, live how they please, and define how they like, just the same as heterosexual people.

If representation from N.Ireland in Westminister is unchanged (inc Sinn Fein abstention), this wd be a "grand committee" of DUP MPs.
