1/10 🚀 #OrdinalNFTs are the latest hype in the #crypto space! Unlike classic #NFTs which rely on #token standards like #ERC721, ordinal NFTs are #minted directly on the #Bitcoin #blockchain. This offers greater permanence and immutability on the distributed #ledger.
2/10 🎨 With #ordinalNFTs, users can inscribe digital art, profile pictures, videos, audios, and images directly onto #satoshis (the smallest unit of #Bitcoin). This means no need for additional #sidechains, L2 solutions, or #tokens! #cryptoart

1. The stacks blockchain settles on to #Bitcoin via PoX or proof of transfer. This is a very different consensus mechanism than PoS or proof of stake. Energy in energy out. #STX in #BTC out is the mining process.
2. Because of #1 PoX #Stacks is scalable. As @JudeCNelson mentions to @Gina__Abrams in this video: ‘blockchains don’t scale, but networks do’ think of PoX as a way to infinitely scale chains together to settle finally n #BTC

The original Kamigawa block was not a success for Wizards of the Coast. While some facets were popular (Shrines, Ninjas, Dragons), several parts of the set fell flat. At the time, the set was designed to pull in a rapidly-growing Japanese #MTG audience. (/2)
This made the names a little hard to parse for non-Japanese audiences. Every rare creature in the set was Legendary. This is back when this was viewed as strictly a drawback, as Commander wasn't really a thing yet. This made it discouraging to open most Rares in multiples. (/3)
