First of many small breakdowns of psych topics let’s start with Subaru’s parataxic distortion of Emilia. Parataxic distortion is a psychological phenomenon in which an individual's perception of reality is distorted by their filters, past experiences, and emotions.
Subaru strongly attaches himself to Emilia as the first person who showed a sense of empathy to him. Emilia is a kind, caring person who might resemble what he idealizes in his mind. He projects his desires onto her and creates an image of her that is distorted by his emotions. ImageImage
As a result, Subaru's perception of Emilia is skewed. He believes that she is someone who will always be there for him, no matter what. He becomes anxious/fearfully attached to her and starts to act as the one who must save her and the white knight if you will. Image

Japan's #Subaru Strategic Program has discovered a super-Earth four times the mass of our planet orbiting a red dwarf just 37 lightyears away.

The good news? This #exoplanet, named Ross 508b, might be habitable!

This super-Earth is a rocky world, on which a year is equal to just 11 Earth days.

The short orbit is down to the red dwarfs being a lot smaller than the Sun that centres our solar system. But the smaller sizes also make their gravitational fields less expansive than the Sun's. Image
Therefore, Ross 508b revolves around its red dwarf at a distance of just 5 million km. Mercury, in comparison, is about 60 million km from the Sun.

The short distance between this super-Earth & its red dwarf begs the question: how could it possibly be habitable? Image

#ProTip if you are considering buying a #Subaru (or any) SUV to sleep in with a car tent like in this pic. Do NOT buy a car with a powered/automated trunk door. You have to leave it open all night. It can drain the battery unless disabled. And disabling it is a pain.

A very random condition I had for my new car was it NOT have an automated trunk. Reason was memories of the 2005 Bombay Flood and how cars with all powered doors became coffins. Turns out it helps with this issue too. We can just use a carabineer to trick a manual door.
But if you have an automated trunk, you'll have to dig into the relays to disable the power drain and it might void your warranty. Even if not, most of us aren't competent enough to play around with electronics of a modern SUV. Just get an SUV with a manual trunk.
