We can't take anything for granted anymore, food, heat, healthcare mental health, honesty, integrity from government, they are a government when what you see is not what you get, clapping for the NHS while partying away the lockdowns now taking
Them to Court, the NHS one off payment is worth ยฃ32 a week, is this really what our nurses are worth?.
What are the government trying to achieve? , bullying people should never be accepted #TimeForChange #BullyBarclay cannot be allowed to win, I'm hoping that the courts stop

It's heartbreaking that the government have offered a 5% pay to NHS workers rise for next year!
What happened to this year? I knew they would do this, I knew they were playing for time.
It's fucking disrespectful that they're going to give them a one-off payment they know
t will affect their benefits.
This sticks in my throat, hard-working NHS workers are claiming benefits! , just absorb that for a minute, people working day and night in our health service, they knew this will happen they have no regard for NHS workers it's a fucking insult, I'm
so angry and sad at the same time.๐Ÿ’”
Shame on this nasty disrespectful odious Government.
Fuck the Tories!.

What a fucking travesty the budget was, as we approach April when tax is increasing to a 70-year high @Jeremy_Hunt gives yet more to the top 1% of this country, nothing for essential services, I wish they would call a general strike right
Across the country I would support it no matter how inconvenient, one out all out!, time to show these fuckers we mean business, don't let them get to April so they can say, but we are in another tax year now.

Sadly, this Government feel the need to take away our safety and security, we all need to take the time to read the ECHR it's going to put so many of us at serious risk of harm by this Government, why would any government need to take away the rights
And the umbrella of safety we've lived under since the second world war.
They are obsessed with legal asylum seekers, "fast-tracked" means only one thing in my opinion, they'll be ignoring anything that doesn't fit their rhetoric whether legal or not, we should be very afraid,
First legal asylum seekers, next us, look what their saying about the unions, welcome to facist britain!.

It's strange to think it's us against them again! you know the ones who are supposed to be public servants, the ones that want to take us back years to the dark times, so many remember, one of lost hope, of cold, of hunger, little children suffering, a time when workers were
nothing but slaves for big corporations, families under so much stress worrying how they were going to be unable to pay their bills, feed their children, they have destroyed everything we've strived so hard for years and years, they've done this in 13 years can you even
imagine if they win the next general election,๐Ÿ˜ฑ
Time to show this ๐Ÿ’ฉ Government what we do and don't want for this country's future, get ready it's going to be brutal leading up to the May elections, we have to fight for this country, this government won't! , they have shown us

Teachers on Strike a ๐Ÿงต
Three years ago you stood on your doorsteps clapping for the key workers, they included teachers.
The schools remained opened the whole way through the pandemic. They taught your children in spite of what was going on in the world. /1
They did their best to keep them calm in a frightening time for all. Often juggling teaching your children while having their own loved ones off ill. These same teachers are suffering fatigue and mental exhaustion. /2
Now those key workers are on strike and being vilified by the government and the press. Theyโ€™re striking for fair pay theyโ€™re striking for your childrenโ€™s welfare and safety and theyโ€™re striking to save the education system. /3

The problems in the NHS are NOT caused by covid, yes they were made worse but the NHS were already in trouble before the pandemic,( if only this government were prepared for the pandemic, didn't they do some training to get ready?)the NHS worked so hard during the beginning of the
Pandemic and everyday since.
The lack of money spanning 13 years of underfunding has cause this, the Tories have been in government for 13 years ,how can anyone question who is at fault.
The total disregard and disrespectful language and behaviour this government is continuing is
So disgusting.
Prolonging the strikes by refusing to negotiate.
Blaming hard working NHS workers, talking about productivity.
The clapping on the doorstep means nothing!,every single person who clapped was showing respect, but for the Tories It was all a ruse to make us believe

The number of UK billionaires has increased by a fifth - from 147 in 2020, to 177 now - since the onset of the Covid pandemic, according to a report calling for a progressive wealth tax to tackle rising inequality amid the #CostofLivingCrisis.

equalitytrust.org.uk/sites/default/โ€ฆ
โ€œThe sudden explosion in extreme wealth was in large part due to measures aimed at lessening the impact of COVID on the economy, as central banks pumped TRILLIONS of pounds into financial markets, leading to a stock market boom which effectively lined the pockets of shareholdersโ€
โ€œWhile Covid-19 saw billionaire wealth rise to levels never seen before, the construction of the economic infrastructure that has enabled this mass accumulation stretches back over the last four decades.โ€

I left #teaching on Friday. I've had a few days to recover and gather my thoughts, and here they are. I loved the school, loved the children, had great success and was proud of my achievements but after 7 years of giving my heart and soul, I had to stop. Something has to change.
When I joined the school I was impressed with the enlightened attitude to workload, in particular the feedback policy (no crazy book marking, lots of WCF and verbal feedback instead), and behaviour was better than nearby schools... but...
After COVID and the new #OFSTED framework, expectations seemed to ramp up, and behaviour declined. My work days lengthened, while - a victim of my own success - class numbers at GCSE and A-level rose. We couldn't recruit, so I was stretched to breaking point.

So my mum who had worked in several positions where she was helping people had a kidney removed. We thought the operation was a success, but a few years down the line it took its toll...
She was regularly working 14 hour shifts on a base rate of ยฃ19k a year, driving and treating patients with a Paramedic supervising. This went on for a long time, she looked and was exhausted...

@SteveBarclay I know you don't care about my life but I do.
I also am not silly enough to expect any kind of recognition or an answer.

It because it makes me feel better.

attention to detail.

Three years ago I had a heart attack not really surprising I'm a broken adult who used to be a broken child.
The NHS looked after me with
Such dedication that I will always be so grateful for, words can never express my thanks for the care I received.

As the weekend starts and we all reflect on the strikes this week I feel it's important to say I support all the strikes but I have to be honest my heart belongs to the Nurses.
Yesterday I had a frightening experience that really brought home to me
What an absolute mess the NHS is in.
Going to the chemist to pick up my prescription I was informed that my heart medication was not available,
I need this medication to stay alive!.
On the phone five hours later I had sourced some.
In the greater scheme of things it may seem
Small but for me it was frightening.
This is the fault of this government for the years of underfunding and Brexit.
There's lots of medication shortages I fear it's going to get worse.
Again we suffer at the hands of this lying, theiving ,odious government incompetence.

What a week its been.
The Tories are continuing their gaslighting and lying ,some things never change.
I'm hoping everyone understands the INDEPENDENT pay review is NOT! I'll repeat NOT! independent ,
It will not cost ยฃ28 billion to give essential
Services a decent payrise.
In actual fact it's approx ยฃ14 billion.
where is Michelle Mone? Could she could pay back the money she stole?, then we could pay essential services a decent payrise.
