E’ stata una nottata di resistenza quella appena trascorsa nella Siria del Nord. La città di Serekaniye, assediata da giorni da migliaia di forze dell’esercito turco e delle brigate jhiadiste sostenute da Erdogan, è totalmente sotto il controllo delle SDF.
Dopo continui attacchi supportati da raid aerei, diversi report parlano di un attacco da parte delle SDF che ha colto di sorpresa il nemico: alcune brigate jhiadiste si sarebbero addirittura ritirate in Turchia lasciando il posto alle forze speciali turche, che tuttavia ->

So far, the PKK / YPG rocket and mortar attacks have already claimed the lives of 18 civilians in Turkey, including children.
The PKK / YPG militants use unguided weaponry, some relying on the WW2 technology like the Grad rockets, to indiscriminately hit populated areas, marking a textbook example of terrorism through hybrid concepts
From a military standpoint, there is no silver bullet C-RAM (counter - rocket, artillery, and mortar) solution to this kind of projectiles. Thus, the Turkish ground offensive must swiftly secure some 20km tactical depth to protect the civilians.
