Holy shit. Who’s watching #TalesOfTheCity on @Netflix? I just finished Ep 4 & I am 😭😭😭. This is fucking big brilliant media contemporary media! (It’s a “limited series” which I think means it’s not something they will renew?)
That makes sense though bc it feels like an epic movie broken into segments. It’s racially & gender diverse, queer, complicated, & intergenerational. It’s telling OUR hard, beautiful, complex stories as an #LBGTQ community. Do yourself a favor this #Pride month & watch it.
Admittedly I am obsessed with more of the secondary characters, the queer women and queers of color, rather than the leads but I feel like they are being given good complicated side stories.
