Thread. Seeing the anniversary of one of Americas colour revolutions in China is coming up, I thought it was time to repost what was lost. There are many myths regarding the supposed #TiananmenSquareMassacre, knowing what we know now, how America fabricates information...
Take a look at that Iconic Image, the western media portrays #TankMan as a symbol of defiance, but what is the truth? Did you know he lived? Did you know he was actually stopping the tanks from leaving the square the morning after? Did you notice he has two bags? Lets see below

2. Since 2016, Matthew was repeatedly harassed by Chinese authorities. After he decided to cover #Uyghur #ReeducationCamps in #Xinjiang, he and his crew were surrounded by 20+ security police. Cops even suddenly knocked on his door and asked about daily activities at midnight.
3. One night when Matthew woke up, he found his phone was remotely hacked by someone who accessed, thoroughly searched his email account and found an email concerning #TankMan footage from #TiananmenSquareMassacre.
Today’s #Inktober prompt is “Demons” and what could be more fitting than the state of the Chinese government? They censor and ban everything from photos of Tank Man during the Tiananmen massacre, to silly memes of Winnie the Pooh.

Their bravery is so inspiring, like that of Tank Man who stood up to the tanks that slaughtered countless pro democracy students in 1989. Even if China censors everything within their firewalls, we in the free world will remember and spread the truth.
