Alysha is a CSA victim survivor. It is a source of deep understanding. Her lived experience is a source of compassion, purpose, courage & determination - to ensure harm is prevented, that voice of disadvantaged & abused youth are heard, & changes enacted. #taspol @Tasmania_COI 👇
I walked the journey of reporting her abuser with her, ultimately leading to a conviction & can ensure all that that experience, whilst understandably difficult, was nothing in comparison to the experience of reporting institutional abuse within the state of Tasmania. 🧵👇

Louise Elliot blocked me, as I found out when I searched for her to see if she’s cross about Hobart City Council’s decision to cap permits for whole-house short-stay accommodation. So, I got curious …

Then on Tuesday the Tasmanian Parliament passed their 200% #renewables target through the lower house of their parliament. This is truly world-leading. No jurisdiction in the world that I can find has set a 200% #renewables target.
