Today, March 31st, is the #transgenderdayofvisibility, my first since coming out and letting the whole world see who I really am...

I have been blessed by support and acceptance in my #transition, but I know that this experience is not universal. (1/x)
Far too many of my #transgender and non-binary brethren are shunned, cast out, or attacked, simply for trying to live as who they are. Even now, in some parts of the world considered the most advanced and civilized, this community of mine is under direct attack. (2/x) ...
... Attacks that seek to legislate us right out of existence. It is no wonder that we are community that is struggling with fear.

Happy #TransDayOfVisibility! But trans people need more than visibility. We need housing, safety, food and justice.

Today I'm releasing a video for my song "The Tyranny of Either/Or," made from archival footage of key moments in trans resistance history
Instead of making a lyrics video or whatever, I decided to make this music video into a mini history lesson about the trans and queer liberation movement, from the Compton's Cafeteria Riot to Sylvia Rivera's iconic speech at Christopher St Liberation Day
"Tyranny of Either/Or" is a pop-punk anthem against transphobia and it's the last single before the release of my album "Spotify is Surveillance" on April 9th. All my @bandcamp proceeds from this song will be donated to the @MPJInstitute. #TDOV2021 #TDOV evangreer.bandcamp.com/album/spotify-…

We are a trans-led and trans-involving grassroots organisation with a wealth of lived experience, community connections of many kinds, and a depth and breadth of trans community knowledge that is second to none. We believe everyone can be intelligent about gender! @Genderintell
