A month or so ago, the Republican Party floated a “Proposed” 2023 budget.

I screenshot some of the “proposed” cuts they suggested making to “reduce the deficit.”

I thought some #farmer #teacher #Legal #TeamJustice

would like to see them:

It's Thanksgiving. I want to thank every single one of you for sticking around & engaging with me. I'd also like to take the time to thank some of the people who enrich my life & empower me.
I'd like to thank all my new friends & one of my oldest friends @AtourSargon, with whom I reconnected only because of @Twitter. We went to college together & were practically tied to the hip. I am thankful for you, my friend.

Ask yourself why so many attorneys are highly sceptical of Merrick Garland as it relates to the 1/6 investigation.
Let me share some of the reviews of Merrick Garland & Lisa Monaco's 1/6 investigation:

"They are a disgrace & an existential threat to our democracy based on their abysmal performance record to date."
Let me share some of the reviews of Merrick Garland & Lisa Monaco's 1/6 investigation:

"A total joke: a joke from Day One to the present day, and one in no way calibrated to make the nation safe from what is 100% an ongoing domestic terror threat and insurrection."

Many ask why the military leadership hasn’t restored Mike Flynn to active duty to court-martial him. Perhaps because they were waiting to see if the Supreme Court would accept review of the US Court of Appeals decision in the case of US v Begani, reaffirming the …
legal proposition that “retired officers (remain) part of the land & naval forces (& are therefore) subject to court-martial jurisdiction.” Well, 10 days ago the Supreme Court denied review of the Begani case, clearing the legal way to court-martial Flynn for, at a bare minimum…
conduct unbecoming an officer, in violation of Art. 133 of the UCMJ. So with the legal decks now cleared, perhaps we should start a:
Mike Flynn Court-Martial watch. Because #JusticeMatters (video on this topic dropping later today). #TeamJustice

An excellent explanation by .@glennkirschner2 I still have many questions.
THREAD!
Glenn, thank you for your very detailed explanation of the 'law' in regards to what falls within the President's right to be protected. My question or questions are, why did he NEED to do that,
in that moment and use such a violent way of doing it? Why didn't they peacefully have the activists moved out the way IF he felt it so necessary for this photo op,which we all know was BS. Why would the DOJ request it to be dismissed knowing that although a President has a right
to be protected, he purposely did that, as you mentioned & we all know, for a photo of that could have certainly waited. It appears, as usual he abused his limited immunity & the power he held. So while I understand & agree this should be litigated & a deposition should be done,

‼️PSA‼️

A toxic/abusive person will try to control you, demand loyalty & limit w/whom you interact.

Ex: Such an abuser will order their unfortunate followers to block or shun another.

When an abusive person no longer controls you they will try to control how others see you.
A friend pointed out, the narcissist abuser uses a carrot & a stick tactic to keep her followers obedient, demanding “loyalty.”

If a follower is “disobedient” the abuser instigates a brutal smear campaign, not only to emotionally abuse that disobedient person, ...
The narcissistic abuser will not only hope to emotionally decompensate its victim, but also use that abuse to serve as a terror tactic to keep its other followers silent as they observe the abuse.

The abuser will even encourage others to join abuse of the abuser’s victim.

Hey #TeamJustice,
Hope you don’t mind if I share a personal story and rememberance. We buried an extraordinary man last Saturday: retired MPD Homicide Detective Lorren Leadmon. Lorren taught me so much about how to investigate AND prosecute murder cases in Washington, DC. ...
Indeed, he taught several generations of Assistant US Attorneys how to do the job . . . and many of them didn’t even realize they were being schooled.
Two quick stories: I was prosecuting a murder case in the 1990s and we were litigating a motion to suppress evidence. ...
The Judge was a strong, smart, fair, no-nonsense judge who I liked, respected and admired. Many years earlier, she had been a prosecutor in my office - the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia - and had worked cases with Lorren. ...

@frogcycle @StevenBeschloss You’ve nailed it. @glennkirschner2 #TeamJustice has been a mentor, a warrior,a silver lining on a daily basis during these dark days. Glenn knows this country will NOT heal unless a Nuremberg style Trump Crimes Commission to hold those lawless crooks accountable. #JusticeIsComing
@frogcycle @StevenBeschloss @glennkirschner2 I expect those remaining GOP members who survive this election cycle to spin on about the importance of bipartisanship & putting the national nightmare behind us because there’s so much presently important forward, looking matters to address—anything else would just interfere.
@frogcycle @StevenBeschloss @glennkirschner2 Ford let Nixon go—he was surprised it cost him his potus run. I was tender aged, but recall he actually cried. Congressional powers hadn’t the stomach to hold Reagan accountable. And, again we heard the let’s just move forward in a spirit of bipartisanship message. Even Bush Jr.

Daily we ask ourselves these questions: can Barr be charged for ordering attacks on protestors; can Trump be charged for his reckless/incompetent/intentional mishandling of the COVID crisis resulting in needless/preventable deaths; can Trump administration officials be charged
with crimes for putting kids in cages? As a result of Trump’s unchecked crimes and abuses there are hundreds of other “can they be charged” questions. There is only one fair and accurate way to answer these questions (even if the answer is, at this moment in time, unsatisfying).
The answer is this: if, after a full, fair, nonpartisan criminal investigation there is enough evedince to support criminal charges then the answer is “yes.” The way we handle these criminal investigations beginning in January will go a long way to restoring

“Technologically Challenged - A Short Story.” Good morning #TeamJustice friends. As you may have heard me admit before, I’m not just bad with technology, I’m downright e-incompetent. So when I leaned that my teaching responsibilities at George Washington University would ...
move from the classroom to teaching online I was . . . less than thrilled. Ok, I was petrified (and I once had a hitman following me, so I generally don’t scare easy). Don’t get me wrong, I know how important it is for students to stay safe and practice social distancing,
so online teaching makes perfect public health sense. But trying to teach me something new on the computer machine is like trying to teach a dog calculus. No matter how many treats you offer us, we ain’t gonna learn much. Still . . . I dutifully met the the smart, helpful and

Update for #TeamJustice: Earlier today I filed a “referral” with the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) requesting that OPR investigate AG Barr based on the criticism of his candor/truthfulness in Judge Reggie Walton’s written opinion.
Here’s the ordinary process: When a federal judge criticizes a prosecutor in a written opinion (as Judge Walton criticized Barr), OPR will open an “inquiry” to determine the basis and legitimacy of the criticism and if further investigation is warranted.
If they disagree w/the judge’s criticism, OPR can close the inquiry with a finding that the criticism was “unfounded.” If they determine the criticism is sound, they will convert the “inquiry” into an “investigation” to determine the nature of the wrongdoing by the prosecutor &
