Ok so in honour of the 20th anniversary of #StarWars #ThePhantomMenace I've decided to try and spot every named battle droid in the film, as they can be identified using the Trade Federation Basic script on their backpacks. Here's the translation in case anyone wants to join in! 
The first two droids with visible names that we see in the film are these two in the hangar - 2296 and 2391 by my reckoning. They're two of the only security droids we see without weapons during the whole film.
Next up we get a nice view of several numbers on the droids sent to check that Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are dead. The command droid is fairly clearly 2714, but the others are one of the only cases of duplication within the same frame. Both on the right seem to read 2112.
