History has taught me to be a better friend & educator. I don’t believe in letting go of the past, as the past has shaped who we are & how we live. While we may believe we have all the choices in the world, we are restricted by systems & attitudes that we dont think about enough. 
I have too much to say about the continual & clear existence of anti-Black racism so I’ll just point out that it was phenom learning w/ @eji_org & I’m excited to use this incredible calendar I picked up at @splcenter. #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackHistory365 #BlackHistoryMonth2020
