It is instructive how former democracy activists join ZanuPF in persecution of the masses and current democracy activists recruit former brutal ZanuPF enforcers of repression in to their ranks. We will not change Zimbabwe when everyone wants a shortcut to power. #thinkingvote
This lack of principle and backbone is probably Zimbabwe's single biggest source of our crisis. Despite a highly educated cabinet, none stood up to Ghukurahundi, despite the number of lawyers in politics today, they do not stand up to being yoked with enforcers today. T

Please ask whether they are ready to suspend their allegiances long enough to have an open & honest conversation about why we are where we are, who is responsible & what they think we should do to change direction. You might want to discuss voting as a duty for nation building

@kubatana @WCOZIMBABWE Societal leadership is at many levels and not restricted to local and national government or political parties. A society decays when the leadership has retrogressive ideas while the rest of the world soars ahead.
Closing the gap is not easy when a generation is trapped in limbo of ideas because of a leadership that is impoverished of mind. Do we become a hernit nation in the middle of an information revolution? #thinkingvote is not an insult. It is a cry for restoration of sanity.

What APA seeks is a values driven citizenry who stand up for constitution & social democrat values. Prosperity follows countries whose citizens are deeply invested in the future & hold politicians to account on the basis of their deeply held beliefs. We must create a new society.
Our value system demands that we speak common sense politics,craft practical manifesto programmes and do politics our way. Every Zimbabwean has a choice to make on whether we continue down the same disastrous path or break from the past completely.
This means objectively assessing the behaviour, past & present, of the leaders who offer themselves up to election. It is not APA's role to prove itself. It is Zimbabwean voters' responsibility to make their own considered decisions. Look not at politicians, look in the mirror!
#MegaDeals Repeatedly lied to. Repeatedly celebrated by our "youth" and women in ZanuPF regalia and yet poverty stalks the masses. Talk to your family & friends. Drop the veil from our eyes. #FixTheFoundation with a massive #ThinkingVote and we will #RehabilitateZimbabwe for all.
The latest CSC deal is yet another example of drip feed wool over the eyes. Ask your friends & family what they think of all these lies. How many mega deals announced to date? Why is country still poor? Who is driving luxury cars? Who has dirty water, no medicine & electricity?
Headlines of mega deals but deadlines from ZESA. Trumpets of open for business but snippets of open for chaos. Shouting by ZanuPF aligned Chiefs but doubting a dissenting Chief. Begging bowl for funding but acquitting corruption cases. Anointed leaders but contaminated water.
