What kind of monstrous country would fund and recruit fighters to attack occupying troops from an adversary country? It's an unprecedented breach of international ethics in all cases, but it's especially morally grotesque to do it against a foreign military in Afghanistan.πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί
The very idea of funding domestic fighters to attack a foreign military in their country is so dastardly, so sinister, so out of bounds for how great nations behave that it's hard to imagine the moral outrage permeating the Pentagon and the CIA when they learned of this. πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
Don't wonder if this true. All leaks by anonymous CIA officials to NYT are inherently credible (and it's "confirmed" not by evidence but by having the same officials repeat their claims to other papers).

But maybe it's worth asking why the US is in Afghanistan for 20 years?πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

My family had to buy an unencumbered piece of land, and my grandmother vowed to build the nicest house in Manhattan Beach.

It wasn't until 1968 with the passage of the Fair Housing Act, that discrimination in housing was outlawed.
