Why Thomas Sankara was not liked by some of his contemporary African leaders:

Maybe it has been the inability to overcome the truncation of life to see him and verve that fed hope of a better Burkina Faso – a better Africa, largely – but Thomas Sankara continues...
to be regarded as one of the most worthwhile examples of pro-people leadership more than 30 years after his death.
He died a few months to his 37th birthday. We console ourselves with the adage that the gods take away young the mortals they love but fate owes us no justification
for how it unfolds. However, in Sankara’s particular case, we may attune ourselves to the idea that Sankara was loved by another world because right where we live, the young soldier was not liked by some other African leaders.

My political mentor who is also the LAST African leader to walk the face of the earth, Late President Thomas Sankara said something about imperialism..
I’m a Marxist/Socialist and a Pan-Africanist just like the African Che Guevara(#ThomasSankara) and I can boldly say that the present day African leaders have failed us..
Should I say that’s because they’re not enlightened or educated enough?
Or certainly blaim it on their self centeredness and inhumanity? I’ve been studying and researching the reason behind the failed state of #Africa(#Nigeria) and it’s crystal clear the reason for this failure is the egotism among the vanguard.
