2. The pain felt like electric-shocks or intense burning sensation, and occurred around eye, nose, lips, cheek and jaw on the right side. Pain lasted for 30-45 seconds and repeated every 5 minutes.

3. The clinical diagnosis was trigeminal neuralgia (TN). MRI brain was normal (didn't show any neuro-vascular conflict near right trigeminal nerve).
Several medicines such as carbamazepine, baclofen and lamotrigine only made him drowsy, without giving any relief from pain.

I WISH that I had good news to share with you all but sadly I don't. The #palliativecare doctor said he only treats end of life or #cancer pain & I am once again thrown back in the water like nasty stinky unwanted chum.
He said that I shouldn't be removed off Rx #opioids & in his opinion the the forced wean is too aggressive. I happened to have a horrible #crps attack so he got to literally see what that looks like. It's not pretty.
WHY are patients forced to go through this much shit in order to get basic care? I 100% feel discriminated against & it isn't ok. He did say that he was going to call my doctor tomorrow & speak to them directly to see if he can convince them to keep me on or adjust my meds.
I have a brain tumor/IIH & such severe intestinal damage that I can't digest food w/out enteral food RX.
It's $198/mo even w/a pharma scholarship.
My now 77-year-old mom is my caregiver & she can't afford it.
We get $64/mo for food + trying to save home. Please help!

In 2011, I was bitten by a tick. I contracted E. Chaffeensis, Rickettsia, & Lyme. I wasn't treated for 11 mos. The bacteria went to my spinal cord/brain.
