In the origination and testing phase these accounts only reply and that too to a particular account. All of them reply the same thing, giving a hint that these are bot operated. (3/5)
Wow big story I just saw from @donie on a @cnnbrk undercover investigation by @clarissaward & her team revealing a Russian linked troll farm in Ghana Africa. One of the accnts they highlight is @africamustwake. We reported on that & a couple others last wk
Here's our thread from last wk on 4 tightly connected #BLM accnts that we identified a while back & had added to our new alt-left #Hamilton68 set of Kremlin-aligned twitter trolls. Can't believe they turned out 2b Russian outsourced accounts based in Ghana

First point: the Reddit operation didn't seem as effective as the equivalents on Twitter, FB etc.
Of the 944 accounts, two-thirds were either inactive or ineffective.

There are some old friends in the mix. Remember @SouthLoneStar? There was a Reddit equivalent, but it only posted once, trying to engage Milo Yiannopoulos via r/the_donald.

The second URL leads to a deleted Twitter account. The first one, if you enter it into a search, gets you to this Twitter warning.
Where does that link then lead? To this pay-per-click ads site. #Trollfarm making a bit of cash on the side? (Don't try this at home unless you have a safe browser.)
