How will you respond, when your world caves in? Will you dare choose faith?

Job 1-2

#TutsyDailyScriptures
Three things choosing faith WON'T do for someone who suffers,
1. Choosing faith in the midst of suffering will not eliminate the pain.
2. Choosing faith in the midst of suffering will not stop the questions.
3. Choosing faith will not create a "logical" reason for your suffering.
Three things faith will DO for someone who suffers,

1. Choosing faith in the midst of suffering WILL remind u that God is in control.
2. Choosing faith in the midst of suffering will be a rare gift to God.
3. Choosing faith in the midst of suffering will bring u closer to God.

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

#TutsyDailyScriptures
“No temptation.” I love that phrase. It covers them all. But the temptations that Paul is talking about specifically in the preceding verses are sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 10:8) and grumbling (1 Corinthians 10:10).
And they are the most dangerous temptations we face because they’re aimed at where we are weakest: our profound, pathological fallen selfishness. This is why Satan concentrates most of his efforts on them.

Proverbs 6:32, KJV: "But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul."

#TutsyDailyScriptures
2. Not only does adultery bring dire consequences to one's earthly life, it disrupts one's relationship with God. Isaiah told the people of Israel that this was a consequence of their idolatry: "Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God" (Isaiah 59:2).
3. Because of their sins, the Lord refused to hear their prayers. He said, "When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen" (Isaiah 1:15).

Your trials are designed just for you. Trials are a necessary part of our spiritual growth (James 1:2–4) and that there is a blessing reserved for those who respond rightly (James 1:12) and do not blame God when hard times comes (James 1:13–15).

#TutsyDailyScriptures
1. Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers (v. 16).

When hard times come, it’s easy to blame God for our problems. Like Adam in the Garden of Eden, we are experts at passing the buck. But remember that God is not on trial during our trials.
2. Beware of "misbelief"! We forget what it cost God to save us. For you know that it was not with perishable things that you were redeemed but with the precious blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:18 -19.

There is no cure for “misbelief” except replacing falsehood with the truth.

4. No one serving in the army gets entangled in everyday affairs; the soldier’s aim is to please the enlisting officer.

5. And in the case of an athlete, no one is crowned without competing according to the rules.

#TutsyDailyScriptures
1. Too many people, often quite gifted, accomplish much less than they otherwise could have accomplished simply because they give up, buckle under, can’t stand the pressure.
2. You and I are called to perseverance, but not that lonely perseverance of one trying to “keep on keeping on” when keeping on no longer makes any sense from a human perspective.

1. Sometimes when people go through something 4 a long time they tend to lean to the idea that things will always be that way. They get used to being in that situation. But, God is still on the throne & He hasn't given up on u & don't u dare give up on Him!

2. It doesn't matter how long you have a problem the power of God is still able to turn it around. He's still the God that it's nothing to hard for him, for with him all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 (my son's favorite bible verse).
3. When there are troubles, we easily remember what has not happened. We don’t remember what God has done for us. I have a note book. In the notebook I write all that the Lord has done for me. Everything God has done, as much as I can remember, has to be written in that notebook.

Healing comes from God.

No Scripture condemns the legitimate use of doctors or medical science, God created doctors and scientists.

One of the names of God is Jehovah-Rapha meaning “the Lord who heals.”
The Father has the power to heal the whole person.

Spiritually (Psalm 103:2-3; Jeremiah 3:22; 1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5)
Physically (2 Kings 5:10; Isaiah 38:15-16; Psalm 41:3; Psalm 107:19-20; Matthew 14:14)
Emotionally (Psalm 34:18)
Mentally (Daniel 4:34)
Healing also comes through the agency of the Holy Spirit working through believers’ spiritual gifts (Acts 3:1-13a).
Jesus healed “every disease and sickness among the people” in Galilee (Matthew 4:23), Judea (Matthew 19:1-2), and everywhere
