संपूर्ण समाजाची गरज जो पूर्ण करू शकतो तो न्याय म्हणजे सामाजिक न्याय. मग ती गरज आर्थिक, सामाजिक, राजकीय, पर्यावरणाच्यादृष्टीनेही असू शकेल. वरकरणी पाहता ही व्याख्या परिपूर्ण वाटू शकेल पण दुसरा प्रश्न उभा ठाकतो तो म्हणजे इथे नेमका कोणता संपूर्ण समाज अभिप्रेत आहे? जातीवर आधारित?3+

इंग्रजांना भारतातून हाकलून दिल्यावरही परिस्थिती फारशी बदलली नाही.

न्यायालयीन लढाईत बाबरी मशिदीचे मुस्लिम पक्षकार हे भूमीपूजनास निमंत्रित होते. राम मंदिर एका धर्माचा विषय नसून तो आस्था आणि श्रद्धेचा विषय आहे याचे उदाहरण धर्मनिरपेक्ष भारताच्या वहीत लिहिले गेले. हिंदू,मुस्लिम,शीख,जैन,बौद्ध अशा विविध धर्मियांनी भूमिपूजनास साश्रुनयनांनी दाद दिली.
धार्मिक एकात्मता हाच एक मुद्दा नसून आज भारत प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात राष्ट्रीय एकात्मतेच्या नेतृत्वाचा महामेरू होतोय. कोरोना महामारीच्या संकटात सर्व भारतीय एक होऊन प्राण पणास लावून या संकटाचा सामना करताय आणि झुंज देताय, हेच याचे उत्तम उदाहरण आणि भारत यशस्वी होण्याचे कारण आहे.

मी २०१७ साली महाराष्ट्रातल्या कोकण प्रांतात एका दुर्गम गडावर एका साधूच्या कुटीत गरम आमटी भात खाल्ला. २०१८ साली सिक्किम राज्यात अभ्यासदौर्या ला वरण आणि भात खायला मिळाला. २०१९ मध्ये कर्नाटकमध्ये एका खानवळीमध्ये अम्मा आग्रह करून भात वाढत होत्या. कोलकत्त्यामध्ये खिचडी खायला मिळाली.
काश्मीर मधील बिर्याणी पासून ते तमिळनाडूच्या पोंगाल पर्यन्त, गुजरातच्या खिचडी पासून ते मणीपुरच्या खिचडी पर्यन्त सगळीकडे आपल्याला तांदूळाचे खाद्यप्रकार दिसतील!

There is a Sukti in the Rigveda - 'एकैव मानुषी जाति:' means that all human race is one. Similarly, it is said in the Yajurveda:

स्त्रीत्वचं ओव्हर ग्लोरिफोकेशन कमी होत नाही, तोपर्यंत #लैंगिक_समानता साध्य होणं तर दूरच, स्त्री "स्वतंत्र" सुद्धा होऊ शकत नाही.
कारण स्त्री फक्त स्त्री आहे म्हणून कुणीतरी स्पेशल आहे, खास आहे, असं भासवून स्त्रीलाच बंदिस्त केलं जातं - गाभाऱ्यातल्या मूर्तीसारखं!

🔶Crimes Against Women: Women are sexually harassed, paid less as compared to men, experience partiality at work, trafficked, etc.
To safeguard them, acts like the Dowry Act, Domestic Violence Act, Maternity Benefit Act, etc. have been enacted.

But in recent years, these acts meant to safeguard women have been misused by them to torture their husbands and in-laws. False rape cases have also been filed to harass innocent men.

👉🏼 आरक्षण आणि सामाजिक न्याय.
एखाद्या ब्राह्मण किंवा कोणत्याही उच्च घोषित जातीच्या विद्यार्थ्याला आवडीच्या कॉलेजमध्ये किंवा नोकरीस पात्र असताना देखील नोकरीसाठी जागा नाकारली जात असेल तर आपण याला काय म्हणाल?
हा सामाजिक न्याय म्हणता येईल का?

आरक्षणाच्या समर्थकांचा यावर युक्तिवाद असा आहे की समाजातील काही घटकांवर हजारो वर्षांपासून अत्याचार होत होते - म्हणूनच त्यांना समाजात उभे राहण्यासाठी मदतीचा हात आवश्यक आहे.

जातीनिहाय आरक्षणाच्या पुरस्कर्त्यांनी डॉ.आंबेडकरांनी ज्या समाजाचे स्वप्न पाहिले होते त्या समाजाला आपण पूर्ण करु शकलो नाही, असा नेहमीच स्टँड घेतला.
माफ़ करा पण डॉ. आंबेडकर हे जाती-आधारित आरक्षण व्यवस्थेचे समर्थक होते हा ग़ैरसमज मला दूर करण्याची इथ परवानगी द्या.
