Initially, the twin towers (taller than Qutub Minar) weren't a part of the sanctioned plan
Flats facing the open area (later on where twin towers got developed) were charged
a Preferred Location Charge (PLC)

Myth -Buyers are losing money .Truth -2014 itself SC had asked for refund to be made with 12% interest
Why not utilise for some other purpose -Truth -the towers were built too close to each other and foundation was structurally weak .
