[BREAKING] UGC to file affidavit in the Supreme Court today in the case seeking cancellation of final year exams across Universities. UGC sources have told @barandbench that it WOULD NOT be cancelling the exams.

The official has confirmed that the UGC will "stick" to the ground taken in the Bombay HC that student's future will be "irreparaby damaged" if final year exams are cancelled.

The UGC will also submit before the Supreme Court that students who are unable to appear for the examinations conducted until September, a special exam may later be held for such a student at a later point of time.
