US #Navy's latest #unmanned surface vessel MARINER OUSV4 was christened today 23 Aug. at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis MD. Vessel is very similar to the earlier USV RANGER and is derived from a commercial fast crew/supply boat aluminum design from Gulf Craft, Franklin LA... 
At 194-feet long, beam of 32' and full-load displacement of 673 metric tons ship is considered a #MUSV Medium USV. Delivered in March with 3 instead of 2 diesel generators but the standard 5 propulsion diesels, ship has 3 bow thrusters and stern waterjets. Autonomous systems...
