Interesting to think of how low the bar is for usability studies in this regard. #design
This reminds me of this fun luggage ad from the 1970s that shows one way to test a design.

It's only confident designers that are willing to study how their design fairs under the worst conditions rather than only the best.

Think about the usability lab. They're great and I wish more organizations did usability studies.

But they are *pristine* - it's quiet, no coworkers, no distractions, the chairs are comfortable, the computers are new... it's not the real world.
