The minister is concerned that rents tied to units will “reduce investment in needed repairs” on private SROs, citing the 2018 #RentalHousingTaskForce conclusions. This boilerplate response is disappointing and fails to grasp the issues with private SRO maintenance 2/6

Developer/Renovicter Jon Stovall already stoking fears about #RealRentControlBC on @CBCStephenQuinn this morning, saying #VacancyControl will be 1 of "27 recommendations" the #RentalHousingTaskForce will make (1:48:00): bit.ly/2ywaJKP
He must be flaunting insider knowledge he enjoys w @bcndp b/c no info on the recommendations is public knowledge yet. BTW Stovall is president of Reliance Properties Ltd. - currently trying to mass renovict Berkley Tower tenants in the #WestEnd (ICYMI: bit.ly/2PpvPnS)
