अत: कभी-कभी छोटी-छोटी बातें असामान्य रूप से भयंकर कष्ट कारक बन जाती हैं एवं भावी पीढ़ी को प्रभावित करती हैं।
भवन निर्माता एवं भवन स्वामी दोनों को द्वारवेध का विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिए। अन्यथा दुष्परिणाम भयंकर हो सकते हैं जो दोनों को भोगने पड़ेगे।

समझदार व्यक्ति को चाहिए कि मुख्य द्वार के सामने कोई पेड़-पौधे दीवार का कोना, खंबा, खाई, कुआं, कीचड़, गली, मंदिर की छाया, पीपल की छाया, कोई कब्र, लंबोतर गली, किसी प्रकार का बंद या बाधाएं नहीं होनी चाहिए।
