@EU_Commission + 🇪🇺-countries need to stop their neocolonial grab for gas in Africa.

Instead, EU leaders must support a #JustTransition on the continent & accelerate a renewable based energy system globally @marietouss1#DontGasAfrica

European governments, esp🇩🇪, proactively push for new gas infrastructure in Africa even though we have local renewable potential in Europe. 🇪🇺leaders: Keep your Glasgow promise + listen to the @Europarl_EN: end new support for fossil fuels! @EU_Commission @vonderleyen @OlafScholz

*sigh*

Tony's STILL banging on about #IDcards, nearly 20yrs later - 'cos make no mistake, that's what #VaccinePassports will become.

Just as WWII's [left 👇] became @10DowningStreet/@ukhomeoffice's [right 👇] with a centralised #biometric #NationalIdentityRegister behind it... ImageImage
...so will #YellowCards [left 👇] morph into 'just an #app on your #phone' [right 👇] - claimed to be 'not #mandatory', of course (unless you want to live your life, work or travel...) and with the centralised #biometric #registration Government has wanted all along. ImageImage
So here's a few questions the #HealthPassport headbangers must answer:

1a) When Heathrow re-opens, given (current) #vaccines don't prevent #transmission, aren't people still going to have to be #tested?

1b) If people have to be tested anyway, what's the point of the 'passport'?

THREAD: So much wrong with this pre-paywall it's not worth reading. Cheryl doesn't #homeschool & doesn't mis-term #homeeducation #homeed (which is not 'excusing' from school, it's the default).
thetimes.co.uk/article/lockdo…
Last month we polled our most recently-joined members on their school vs. #homeed intentions post-lockdown. School lost the popular vote by a wide margin with only 8% definitely returning thier children.

Our membership has increased by nearly 600 since March. We have admission criteria and rules that prohibit the use of #homeschooling misterminology, which means we decline requests from those who believe we support the replicatation of schooling at home.

A word about the NHS:
“Ending FoM on October 31st” + “must make more than 36k to be allowed to come to the UK” = staff shortage of already too scarce staff.
It’s a “no foreign staff for the NHS” policy.
And there is not enough available UK staff to replace them.
Crash is coming.
Interestingly, should there be a referendum on this specific matter, roughly 99% of Leavers and 99% of Remainers wouldn’t vote for that -crashing the NHS.
Tho one thing I’m ready to bet on: Private clinics like this one with Ashcroft on board will be staffed.

Wow.
Can’t wait for Malta e-voting App, developped by Scytl & its Russian partner, and Idox, whose core business is Oil&Gas and whose software in that core business happen to be developped with (another) Russian partner.
@J_amesp
As much as I understand it’s unpopular to question elections’ integrity -as it could undermine people’s trust in elections- the risks and lack of scrutiny of elections’ new technology and private providers “may” not be the best thing for elections -and trust in elections either.
Few companies have more #vestedinterests in politics than companies needing Oil&Gas to thrive to make profits. They need politicians who won’t stand for regulations/the environment. Let them count votes may not be smart.
