As @etammykim wrote in the NYT, South Korea took a very different approach than the US —a national approach to getting ppl masks. So it’s interesting to learn the US actually considered but abandoned something similar nytimes.com/2020/04/01/opi…
Also, I am reminded of how when I was a kid, everyone got a mailer in the US and my parents talking to me about ours when it came. We have precedent in SK & in US history of how the USPS could have been activated w COVID—but our current govt failed Image
