New Yorkers: set fear aside for a moment and consider what electing Lee Zeldin would mean for the MANY issues that matter to us. 4-8 years is a long time to be stuck with a MAGA governor. Whether you’re moderate or progressive, is 👇 what you want? #VoteWFP
Have you ever heard Lee Zeldin talk about anything other than crime? There is a reason he prefers not to: because in addition to having no real plan for public safety, he supports a far right agenda wildly out of step with NY. #VoteWFP
Fear can lead to bad decisions. The social and economic impact of the pandemic combined with an ongoing lack of housing and mental health/substance use treatment have increased fear of crime. The answer isn’t electing a “semi-fascist” like Lee Zeldin.

It's true that not every vote in New York general elections has historically mattered. The fights were in the primaries.

This year it will be historically true that every general election vote matters.

Please vote Tuesday against Zeldin on the @NYWFP ballot line.
Zeldin can do to New York, what 45 did to the US. Culturally, electorally and legislatively. He is a threat to basic human rights and civil liberty.

People who are minimizing potential harm of a Governor are either not informed, self destructive or trying to favor Republicans.
New Yorkers, it is not too late for you to get on the phones and call your neighbors.

There are 5 more time slots left to fill asking only for 2 hours of time #VoteWFP

My community, majority Black, brown and Asian immigrant with working class white people and gigantic labor union presence is flooded from the outside with Zeldin signs. People ask me where they can get a Hochul sign and no one knows. No doors. No calls either.
One of the key advantages of progressives winning in the midterms is that they will have a ground game for the generals. So far my only contacts educating me on Hochul in this community is from @NYWFP who challenged her in the midterms. That's it.
We need to fill the gap left by the Hochul campaign and call each other.

New York, sign up to send texts or to make calls against Zeldin. This may be the most important Gov election in our lifetimes. #VoteWFP

I'm not much for a personal year in review so instead, to celebrate New Year's Eve, here's a thread of people whose work and presence meant something to me this year (plus if you -still have donation dollars, some ideas!):

1/??? (here's a cat to keep your attention) A white and orange cat sits on a shelf and stares at the cam
2/ @WFPPups: @SaulFKahn & @raphyjacobson are both dear to me but also encouraged my addiction to enter button fury via textbanking to #VoteWFP. Love @nywfp @workingfamilies for investing in youth leaders & WFP Pups texting parties were among the bright spots of the 2020 election.
3/@SaulFKahn also works w/ one of my big hopes for South Asian feminist, socialist representation in @NYCCityCouncil, @ShahanafromBK. With disability advocacy, radical language access & more, Shahana's work is grounded in experience & love. Help them win: shahanafrombk.com/donate

Our progressive movement is becoming more powerful than ever before, especially in NY. This cycle I got to see @sochiesays leadership and coalition building skills at @NYWFP up close on @JamaalBowmanNY race.
And I was inspired from afar by @nycDSA candidates like @ZohranKMamdani and an electoral organizing strategy that so clearly has changed the game in just a couple of cycles.
It’s an honor to dream and build with them, especially in this moment. Also, @NYWFP shouldn’t even be having to deal with this but @NYGovCuomo can’t handle being challenged #VoteWFP nytimes.com/2020/09/15/nyr…
